Skill-Based Training Program Cohort 2

Phase Two Launch: Transforming Lives through Skills and Fashion

We are proud to announce the launch of the second phase of our 2025 Skills-Based Training Program, beginning with an impactful orientation session. This phase builds on our mission to empower women and youth in Lake Victoria’s fishing communities through practical, life-changing training.

While many see fashion as merely style, we harness it as a tool for strength and economic liberation. Today marked our first Fashion and Design training session under this new phase – where young women are gaining hands-on skills to create opportunities far beyond their traditional shoreline livelihoods.

This expanded program delivers:

·        Renewed energy through enhanced vocational training

·        Fresh skills in fashion design and other market-driven fields

·        Concrete pathways to economic independence

When women gain skills and young people thrive, entire communities transform. Through fashion and vocational training, we’re not just teaching techniques – we’re turning the tide toward sustainable empowerment.

Join us in rewriting futures.
