Power to Youth Journey in Homabay

WA-WA Kenya has led the Power to Youth Project in Homa Bay since 2022. We championed youth rights relentlessly. Our team confronted the Triple Threat directly. This means reducing teen pregnancies. This means fighting new HIV infections. This means ending gender-based violence.

We strengthened civil society simultaneously. We boosted social accountability across Homa Bay. Our work created lasting community structures.

We convened key stakeholders for the project close-out. Ndhiwa hosted this critical meeting. NAYA Kenya provided vital support. Chiefs joined the dialogue. Religious leaders shared insights. Civil society organizations collaborated. Paralegals contributed expertise. Community health promoters added perspective.

Together we evaluated our collective impact. We prioritized sustainable solutions beyond the project. Ensuring continuity remains our shared mission.

This chapter closes now. But our youth commitment never wavers. We build on PtY’s successes next. Lessons learned guide future action. Community empowerment continues uninterrupted.

We deeply thank every partner and champion. Your dedication fueled this journey. Real change grows from your efforts.

The work accelerates forward from here.
